A Drive Through Vermont with Asia + Luna

My Grandmother and I just happen to share the same birthday! April 30th, to be exact. This year to celebrate I decided to go on a spontaneous road trip up to New Hampshire to spend the day with her, my grandfather, my best friend, and my dog. I spent way more money on this 24 hour trip than I probably should have, but in the end it was all worth it to see how truly happy it made my grandmother.

Besides! Spontaneity is what I live for! That, and traveling.

We made our first stop a famous look-out location at Hogback Mountain. A mountain famous for the "100 mile view". It was a little gloomy during our drive, but we could definitely still make out Mount Monadnock in the distance - a tiny blip compared to the giant towering thing we saw above us in Keene.

Of course, after freezing ourselves in the windy drizzle, we hopped back in the car, only to stop a few miles down the road to take photos with the signs in front of Wahoo's Eatery - a seasonal burger shack with the BEST food Route 9 has to offer. (Seriously, the signs are hilarious, and the food is amazing - STOP HERE!)

Wahoo's Eatery: Where we welcome your business and relish your buns!

And, of course, I had to stop and show Luna the painted moose and Bennington Battle Monument in Bennington, VT.
